If you go the dual processor motherboard route, though, get as much system board as you can. Different ones are rated for different speeds and varying chip sets. As with pretty much everything computers, get more than you require today. Because several months down the road you might need it! And if you're spending all this money on a dual processor mother board, you may as well do it right.
One more consideration -- when you purchase the CPUs, make sure they've the same voltage (very crucial) as well as the same speed. 2 processors with different speeds will slow each of them, as they try to juggle the processor load.
