Bali Collections is the shopping complex hooked up for the many resorts that are located in the area. With the Grand Hyatt Hotel in the south, the Melia Bali Sol to the north and the double 'islands' of Nusa Dua only just 400 meters to the east, the complex is easy to find. Nusa Dua itself would seem like Beverly Hills, by using manicured lawns, sprawling properties and unique lack of anything local. The Bali Collection has the feel of an outdoor shopping complex in California, complete with compact restaurants with outdoor dining, palm trees and quiet vibe.

Bali Collection has 3 main parking spots capable of accommodating 850 cars. Parking is free of charge.
Bali Discovery Mall
The first thing that touches you when you walk into Discovery Mall from the master street, is the flavor of bread, or shall I say dough. Sugared dough is one design that has spread around the world, and like crack to crackheads, this stuff is irresistible to clients. If I ask Indonesians if the they just like bread, they'll all say no. Have them to a mall with sugared dough and they just have to have it.
Discovery Mall is essentially located to make bank, if the users pack it with 'bule friendly' merchandise. They already have Starbucks and Pizza Hut. In which together with the 'sugared dough' and $30 surf shorts should entertain the kids for a good 2 hours.
For tourists to Bali, you will find decent quality goods in this shopping center. All things has a price tag and prices are non-negotiable. I bought a very nice sarong one time from the batik store on the ground floor.
Carrefour
The hottest shopping center is Carrefour at the Sunset Road which provides the huge hypermarket of the French retailer on the top floor sale on over 8000 sqm, food, baked goods, prepared food, wine, diary products, fridges, TVs, luggage, clothing, furniture, computers etc. All in one place similar to a Wal-Mart in the US. The lower floors offer you a variety of shops possessing a Periplus bookshop, an Apple-authorized reseller and many food outlet stores. Opening hours are daily from 9:30 am to 10:00 pm.
Sukawati
If you questioned Balinese where to find best value arts and craft, they will recommend you Sukawati!!
Located at Gianyar Sukawati has classical market on the main road and side streets. Known for its art market where you can get the "cheapest price" handicrafts. Wide range of Balinese handicraft are accessible, together in finished and semi-finished statues. A large assortment of woven baskets can be found here along with Balinese ceremonial merchandise made from colourful "Prada" - gold painted cloth. Even paintings, all types of handicrafts and fabrics can be had for pretty much good price.
